On this episode of my Vlog, I explain how I learn the process of wet plate photography . I introduced you to my Yoda Shane Balkowitsch.  I first found out about Shane from a podcast called the Business of Photography.  I then watched a documentary on Amazon about him. After the documentary I emailed him to see if he would teach me the way of the plate. He was very open to having me come to his studio in Bismarck, North Dakota and spending the weekend with him. So I drove my jeep from Long Island, New York to Bismarck North Dakota.  My entire trip was 3,200 miles.  But the best road trip I had ever taken. Watch the entire video to learn more.
